How long to barbeque a blue whale?
How long will it take to barbeque an entire blue whale on a skewer type device, like they roast hogs?
Let’s say it’s been gutted, skinned, and some of the major bones have been removed. Also most of outer blubber removed as well, so it won’t catch on fire.
Could it be done? How many people could it feed?
Would it end world hunger?

All I know for sure is it would take too long, and that’s why they chop them up into smaller pieces right on deck before freezing.
One mink whale makes several tons worth of meat, but as for ending world hunger, absolutely not. The transportation is costly and there aren’t enough whales on a permanent basis.
Whale beef is very, very rich and tasty. One of the best beefs you will ever eat.
PS to all the hypocrites who think it’s wrong to kill whales: Mink whales are not endangered. With the limited harvest of some 800 per year the stock is still growing fast and currently number over a hundred thousand. Unless you’re vegetarian you have no argument.
